INNA QUOSHEK INTERIOR DESIGN

Founder & Principal Designer

A year after moving from Ukraine to California with my parents at 16, I began earning my business degree at UC Santa Barbara. I often found myself drawn to architecture, but I decided to give finance a try, spending three years in trust administration before realizing it wasn’t where my creative spirit belonged. I pursued a second degree in Interior Design while working full time. Three years later, I left finance behind and stepped fully into the world of design, where I’ve lived ever since.

Over the past two decades, I’ve built IQ Interior Design into a collaborative, full-service studio. My work is guided by a simple goal: to create spaces that feel beautiful and deeply livable, with an element of surprise. I believe interiors should evolve naturally over time, reflecting the individuality and stories of the people who inhabit them.

My business background provided a strong foundation in project management, budgeting, and building client trust, skills that naturally complement my creative process. Inspired by architecture, art, and world travel, I bring a global perspective to my work and thrive on collaborating with the skilled craftspeople who help bring each vision to life.

Beyond Design

Creativity runs through every part of my life. I love designing and building custom furniture, painting in oil and watercolor, sewing, and photographing the world around me. I find joy in cooking for family and friends and love bringing people together through gatherings that celebrate connection and creativity, from Mardi Gras feasts and crawfish boils to Friendsgiving Nog Offs, New Year’s parties, and our annual Santa Cruz musseling adventure.

Reading, hiking, yoga, art galleries, and live music round it all out, along with life in Redwood City with my husband, two kids, and our long-haired dachshund, Ruby.
