INNA QUOSHEK INTERIOR DESIGN

Founder & Principal Designer

A year after moving from Ukraine to California with my parents at 16, I began earning my business degree at UC Santa Barbara. I was always drawn to architecture, but initially pursued finance, spending three years in trust administration before realizing it wasn’t the right fit. While working full time, I earned a second degree in Interior Design and eventually left finance to build a career in design.

Over the past two decades, I’ve grown IQ Interior Design into a collaborative, full-service studio. My goal is to create spaces that are beautiful, deeply livable, and a little unexpected. I believe a home should feel collected rather than overly composed, evolving over time to reflect the people who live there.

My business background continues to shape the way I work, particularly in project management, budgeting, and client relationships. Architecture, art, and travel are constant sources of inspiration, and I especially enjoy collaborating with the craftspeople and specialists who help bring each project to life.

Beyond Design

Outside the studio, I love cooking, entertaining, and bringing people together around food. Hosting family and friends has also shaped the way I approach kitchen design. I think about how people actually move through a kitchen, where guests gather, what needs to be within reach, and how the space can function beautifully whether it’s a quiet weeknight dinner or a full house.

I’m also happiest when I’m making something, whether that means painting, sewing, photography, furniture design, or trying a new recipe. Travel, art, live music, and discovering beautiful places continue to influence the way I see color, materials, and space.

I live in Redwood City with my family and our long-haired dachshund, Ruby.
